Helen meets with you using the SimplePractice telehealth link in your client portal. Your link is located in your “Appointments” tab on your calendar or in your downloaded appointment reminder under “Location.”
Accessing Your Session Link
We use two HIPAA-compliant platforms: Zoom and SimplePractice telehealth. Your provider determines which platform will be used for your session.
Directions
Please join your session from a private, quiet location using a secure internet connection, working camera and microphone to help protect confidentiality.
Your provider’s primary meeting link details are located in the Provider Meeting Rooms section.
When you launch your provider’s official meeting link, you will enter a virtual waiting room until your provider admits you to the session.
If you have trouble accessing your session, please send a message to your provider through the secure Messenger in the client portal.
Other Ways to Access Your Links
This page contains all provider link details. This page is linked in your appointment confirmation email (sent at the time of booking) and appointment reminder email (which are sent 36 hours and 10 minutes before your session).
Please note that within your client portal, under the Appointments tab, in your calendar AND the Location field within your downloadable appointment reminder contained in your confirmation email will only contain the SimplePractice telehealth link.
If you are working with a provider who uses Zoom Meetings, you will ALWAYS access the providers personal Zoom Meeting link on this page.
Need to request an appointment?
Appointments may be requested, rescheduled or canceled through the client portal more than 48 hours in advance. Requests within the 48-hour window must be submitted through the client portal messenger.
Rescheduling, Cancellation and No Show Policy
No-show and late cancellation fees of $75 may apply to missed appointments or change requests made without at least 48 hours’ notice, unless otherwise stated in your service agreement. Exceptions are limited, made at the sole discretion of the provider, never guaranteed, and must be documented in writing.
Virtual Platform Use, Participation, Accessibility and Recording Reminders
Virtual sessions inherently carry some privacy risks. Participating from a public or unsecured location may limit your provider’s ability to continue the session as planned in order to protect your confidentiality.
Virtual Meeting Location Limitations Reminder
Our providers are licensed to practice behavioral health services within the state of Colorado. You must be physically located in Colorado at the time of your session. If you are outside of Colorado, your provider will not be able to meet with you.
Accessibly Features are Typically Automatically Launched
Providers will often use a range of accessibility tools that may be launched at the start of your session. Those tools include AI-assisted note-taking, and recording features to support quality compliance, care review and on-going documentation support, as described in your informed consent and service agreement.
Unauthorized Third-party Recording is not Permitted
Unauthorized or third-party recording of sessions is not permitted. This helps protect your privacy by reducing the risk of sensitive behavioral health information being stored, transmitted, or accessed outside secure, HIPAA-compliant systems.
If you would like summaries or supportive materials related to your sessions, your provider can work with you to provide appropriate documentation and resources.
