Welcome!
Below, you'll find more information about me and how to get started. Once you're ready to move forward, click my "Book With Me" button on this page — you'll be taken to our Begin page, where you'll find instructions for getting started and can submit your request for an intake appointment with me.
What is my therapeutic style?
My style is practical, collaborative, and neuro-affirming. Together, we'll build a better understanding of how your brain, nervous system, and environment interact so you can develop sustainable strategies that improve emotional well-being and everyday functioning.
Who do I work with?
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism level 1, burnout, chronic illness, and the everyday challenges that affect work, relationships, and daily functioning.
I might be a good fit for you if…
You're not sure what your patterns even are — you just know you're tired of living in fight-or-flight, feeling constantly triggered or emotionally distressed, and ready to make a change in work, relationships, or life.
You understand your patterns intellectually but still struggle to change them day to day.
You're neurodivergent — diagnosed, self-identified, or still exploring what fits — and want care that works with how your brain functions, not against it.
ADHD, autism, anxiety, or burnout is affecting your ability to get, keep, or thrive in a job.
You're stuck on job retention or career satisfaction, and it's showing up as perfectionism, procrastination, or over functioning.
My Credentials
LPCC — Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, State of Colorado
CRC — Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification
Education — M.A. Rehabilitation Counseling & M.A. Educational Leadership, University of Northern Colorado
What to expect when you book with me.
My goal is to make your experience from start to finish as transparent, collaborative, and informative as possible, so you can focus on why you're here and working toward where you want to go.
-
Many neurodivergent adults have tried therapy before and left feeling frustrated, misunderstood, or unchanged. Common reasons include:
Insight without regulation: Understanding why something happens doesn't automatically create the capacity to respond differently in the moment.
Skills taught outside of context: Strategies that aren't practiced in real-life situations often don't carry over into everyday functioning.
Overemphasis on motivation or mindset: Executive dysfunction and nervous system dysregulation are not character flaws or a lack of effort.
One-size-fits-all approaches: Traditional models may overlook neurodivergent processing styles, sensory needs, energy limitations, and cognitive load.
-
I provide neuro-affirming, practical psychotherapy that focuses on building regulation, increasing capacity, and improving everyday functioning. Rather than relying on a single therapeutic model, I integrate evidence-informed approaches and adapt them to your unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
-
Our work together is collaborative, transparent, and grounded in real life—connecting insight with practical strategies you can apply to your work, relationships, routines, and daily responsibilities.
Sessions typically follow a simple rhythm: we begin with what's been most present for you since our last meeting, explore the highs, lows, and patterns that emerged, and end by identifying one realistic micro-objective to focus on before we meet again.
Depending on your needs, sessions may also include:
Slowing down to notice stress responses, emotional patterns, and nervous system cues
Practical problem-solving around work, routines, relationships, and decision fatigue
Executive-function support integrated with emotional regulation
Real-time skills practice, experimentation, and psychoeducation
Building sustainable ways of functioning that align with your values and everyday life
Progress rarely happens through dramatic breakthroughs. More often, it develops through small, sustainable changes that build over time. Together, we'll focus on what can realistically change, strengthen what already works, and find practical ways to adapt to the things that cannot.
-
Clients who work well with me are often curious about the why behind their patterns and want therapy that extends beyond insight alone. Rather than separating mental health from work, relationships, routines, and daily responsibilities, we explore how these parts of life influence one another while building practical strategies you can begin using right away—so meaningful change continues between sessions, not just during them.

Neuro-affirming therapy recognizes that neurological differences, such as ADHD and autism, are natural forms of human diversity rather than problems to be "fixed."
Instead of trying to make you think, feel, or behave like everyone else, this approach focuses on understanding how your brain, nervous system, and environment interact. Together, we'll identify practical strategies that build on your strengths, reduce unnecessary barriers, and support meaningful functioning in everyday life.
Neuro-affirming therapy may be a good fit if you:
Are neurodivergent, including ADHD, AuDHD, or autistic, or are exploring whether those experiences resonate with you.
Experience chronic burnout, overwhelm, or challenges with executive functioning.
Feel previous therapy increased insight but didn't lead to meaningful change.
Want practical, collaborative therapy that works with your nervous system and everyday life.
-
No.
You do not need a formal diagnosis to receive neuro-affirming care. If you decide that a formal assessment is important to you, I can provide referrals to a psychologist who offers comprehensive psychological evaluation.
Many clients come to therapy for concerns like anxiety, depression, emotional burnout, overwhelm, or difficulty keeping up with daily demands. Some clients suspect ADHD or Autism level 1 may be part of the picture because they experience executive functioning challenges, sensory stress, attention difficulties, organization struggles, emotional regulation concerns, or chronic burnout.
Others already have a diagnosis and want to work with a provider whose lived experience and clinical training support neuro-affirming care.

Self-scheduling is currently available for Tuesday through Thursday appointments only to support coordination and prevent scheduling issues.
Appointments shown online are typically available 48 hours to 2 weeks out. If you are trying to schedule outside that window, please complete the appointment request first. Once your portal account is created, send a secure portal message requesting scheduling support.
Standard appointment availability is generally between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Evening availability is limited. Requests outside standard availability are reviewed individually after the full appointment request is complete so I can consider scope of care, scheduling needs, and current availability.
